Tuneful Chatter

Playful and fun weekly sessions for 0 - 5's and their grown ups

Two small children play a large drum with a woman with blonde hair

Bring your children, aged 0 – 5, to take part in playful arts activities with Tuneful Chatter at The Point! Here, your children will have fun with experienced artists using music, dance and drama activities. These sessions are designed to encourage language and communication skills.

Sessions run weekly on Fridays, 10.30am – 11.30am at The Point.

You do not need to book a place to attend these sessions, you are very welcome to drop in. If the session ever becomes too full, we will use a first come, first served system to keep the number of people in the room at a reasonable level.

Please note, there is a maximum of 2 adult places per child. Children must be accompanied by their parents/ carers throughout the session.

There is a £4 suggestion donation per session. We have a card payment system that you can use at the start of each session if you wish, as well as a donation box. If you have any concerns about this, please drop Sophie an email on sophie@wearedarts.org.uk and we can have a chat about this.

What should I bring with me?

We will provide all of the creative materials for you and your child to take part in the sessions.

Facilities

The Point is an accessible building, with lifts, disabled toilets and a Changing Places toilet, with changing table and hoist.

We have space available for buggies to be stored during the session, please ask one of our team to show you when you arrive. Please take all personal items off your buggy and bring them with you into the workshop space. Wheelchairs and sleeping babies in buggies are welcome in the room.

Quiet spaces and feeding

The Point is a breastfeeding friendly venue. For babies, feeding in the session is absolutely fine, or we have quiet spaces that you can use if you prefer.

In order to keep the workshop space clear and safe for movement, we ask that snacks for toddlers are given in one of our quiet spaces around the building. All Tuneful Chatter sessions are relaxed and leaving the session for a snack is not a problem.

We also have a cafe in the building, with high chairs available. If you would prefer to bring your own food, you are welcome to sit in our Glazed Link, Courtyard or Garden areas.
