swag choir and swaglets

Energetic groups perfect for any budding superstars!

Walking around The Point on a Tuesday night, the building is buzzing with the sound of the likes of Little Mix, Beyonce and Major Lazer from a 20 strong, dynamic vocal group like no other…Tuesday night is Swaglets night!

Swaglets is an energetic group of 11 – 14 year olds who perform chart hits with choreography and harmony. It’s a training choir for any younger budding superstars who like to sing and strut their stuff!

Swag Choir is currently paused during the busy exam period, but if you’re older and interested in getting involved please contact us at

Over the past few years genres covered have included; Pop, Hip Hop, Drum n Bass, R n B, Rap and even classical! Not like any choir you’ve ever seen before, this is group is more like an enormous pop band than a choral group.

Rehearsals for Swaglets take place at The Point on Tuesday evenings during term time, 4:45 – 5:45pm.

Book your ticket for this half term here.

Swaglets has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and welcomes singers of all standards and styles.

There is no audition or even ever a need to sing on your own! Many members of the choir have said they joined not knowing what to expect and that initially they were nervous, but after a few sessions felt more confident and completely comfortable singing within the group.

Several members have also joined without previously knowing anyone else in the group and have now gained a whole new close knit group of friends.

Since forming, Swag Choir have performed and been well received at a number of different events in some fantastic venues including; ‘iSing’ and ‘Sing Out’ Doncaster Music Education Hub’s massed singing events at The Dome, ‘Beethoven Weekend’ at Cast and ‘T Fest’ Doncaster’s biggest music festival!

During lockdown, the Swaglets and Swag Choir have been busy recording their special version of Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On’, which you can watch here.
