Creative Moves

A creative space to move and connect

An adult with long blonde hair and glasses is seated in a wheelchair opposite an adult with long brown hair and brown beard, seated in a chair. Both adults are reaching towards each other, smiling, and touching one finger of opposite hands together.

Would you like to move more but aren’t sure where to start?

Creative Moves is suitable for all abilities and mobilities but is particularly aimed at those who feel they want to gently increase their activity levels, feel fitter and boost their wellbeing. Anyone over 18 is welcome at any session.

When and where?

The Point
Fridays, 1.30-3.00pm
No booking required – free to attend

Why join?

Taking part in regular movement is proven to be good for both our bodies and minds. The physical benefits of moving more,  including reduced risk of major illnesses, lower blood pressure and stronger muscles and bones, are proven. But moving more can also help us feel happier. It releases feel-good hormones, allows us to take a break from everyday challenges and can create new social connections.

We know it can be daunting to start something new. At Creative Moves we’ll meet you where you’re at and show you how you take part in a way that’s comfortable for you. There’s no one size fits all approach – every session is tailored to the people in the room. You can take part seated or standing – however you choose to move, it’s all good.

Even a little bit of movement can change your life and we want to help you get started on your movement journey. Together, we’ll move our bodies to boost wellbeing in this safe and supportive group for adults in Doncaster. No experience needed – drop in and you’ll be given a warm welcome.

Contact or 01302 493991 if you have any questions at all.
